The Arame has a slightly salty and mild flavor, which is why it is also called "seaweed for beginners". With arame you can go in all directions: it is delicious in miso soups, in salads, as a garnish or with soba or udon noodles. Arame grows in the protected bay of Ise-Shima in the wild and is harvested by hand.
