Chitosan is a marine fiber. There are plenty of chitosan products out there, but only a handful contain the purest of pure chitosan. Our chitosan ingredient is unsurpassed in it's quality and purity. FBlock's chitosan goes through a process called deacetylation, which refers to the removal of acetyl groups. This is a process that increases the solubility of the chitosan fiber. But there's more.
