Our anti-colic valve is designed to prevent air from entering your baby's tummy and to reduce gas and discomfort. When the baby feeds, the valve built into the nipple flexes to allow air to enter the bottle to prevent vacuum build-up, and directs the air toward the back of the bottle. Air is kept in the bottle, away from the baby's stomach, to reduce colic and discomfort.

The Philips Avent range of anti-colic bottles offers different levels of nipple flow to keep up with your baby's growth. Remember that the age indications are approximate, since babies grow at different rates. All teats are available in packs of two units: newborn flow, slow, medium, fast and variable and thick.
